Keeping TechIdeate 2K15, the annual Technical Festival of MUJ, in mind the IEEE Student Branch, MUJ presents an AVR based robotics workshop – “iSensoBotz”, on 22nd and 23rd February, 2015.

ISensoBotz on AVR is a microcontroller based introductory autonomous robotics workshop conducted by ARK Techno solutions, where you learn the art of making autonomous robots. This workshop teaches you the fundamentals of designing and building autonomous robots by integration with a microcontroller. It also focuses on conceptualization and designing of complex systems and will help clear concepts related to embedded systems, artificial intelligence and automation. Apart from the theoretical sessions, participants would be working on autonomous robotics kits. This kit includes, microcontroller based board, sensors, actuators etc. Hands on sessions on this kit will help the participants to enhance their embedded C programming and PC hardware interfacing skills.

Selected students will get a chance to participate in the final round of ‘National Robotics Championship’ at IIT Bombay.

Contents of the Workshop:
Basics of Embedded systems.
Details of microcontroller.
Programming the microcontroller using AVR Interface.
Interfacing and controlling various devices like LED, motors, Sensors etc. with microcontroller.
Use of ADC for different interface control.
Making of various types of robots, their algorithms and coding.
Application of micro controllers in industry, military, medical, Home appliances, home automation etc.
Use of sound sensors and its application.

The Robots Which Can be made using the kit:
Robotics Workshop by IEEE Student Branch, Manipal University Jaipur Line follower robot
Timer control robot
Obstacle Avoider Robot
Obstacle Follower Robot
Photo Phobic Robot
Phototropic Robot
Sound controlled robot
Various other open ended applications

Workshop Fee:- 750 Rs per participant (including one robo-Kit and CD to Group of 5 participants)

Submit your fee in finance department from 17-feb-2015 (Tuesday) onwards
